Cody completely surprised Shanna when she was in Cleveland for Christmas in 2016. While she thought they were meeting up with his family to look at Christmas lights, he actually had a surprise proposal planned in the heart of downtown Cleveland right by the beautiful, larger than life, chandelier. His mom even had Shanna's mom and grandparents on FaceTime to witness the whole thing. Shanna was so surprised and overtaken with emotion, everyone was trying to confirm she had actually said 'yes' to the question! Of course she had and she felt like the luckiest girl on the planet.
